Keith Allen and Richard Parsons have been making music together since January 2002, after Keith answered Richard’s advert posted in a local music shop. Keith started his musical career as a drummer in various London bands, including The Perfect Strangers and cult band The Times, playing on assorted singles, albums and tours. On moving down to the West Country without a band, Keith decided to swap the drums for something easier to carry, picked up a guitar and started composing. Group 4 evolved after Keith and Richard realised that although their musical tastes were diverse, Richard’s interest in music technology and ear for harmony, combined with Keith’s song-writing and vocal talent created a unique musical combination. With the addition of bass and rhythm talent, Group 4 are now taking thier sound in a new direction.
